More Mini Holiday Goodness!
Earlier this week I highlighted some of the mini cards that have recently been added to my Etsy Shop. Today I’m back with a handful more!
As I’ve previously mentioned, I really have a thing for mini cards. I love that they’re just big enough to leave for someone to find or to tuck in with a gift without the large size format of a regular card. Plus, everything mini is fun. The following holiday-themed cards pack a big punch in a small package.
The first mini features a couple of my favorite elements on any card: washi tape, mini gems & a combination of quirky, fun fonts! A green polka dotted background lies under a white banner that’s been stamped with the sentiment “Have yourself a merry little Christmas” in black ink.
Red & green are in full effect with this one, but the combination of patterns with the polka dots and chevrons combine beautifully. Little shiny red gems in two different sizes form a visual triangle and are the epitome of adorableness. Have yourself a merry holiday and pick up this card here.
The second mini card encompasses all the winter holidays with a somewhat generic sentiment. “Have a Joyous Holiday” is stamped in black and accompanies a small green tree which is elevated off of the card base with pop dots. Pink polka dotted paper is home to the strip of striped patterned paper, the tree and the sentiment.
The upper right hand corner of the card is rounded for additional detail. This non-traditional color scheme works well with the combination of pinks, reds, greens and turquoise. The official listing is here in my Etsy Shop.
Proof that Santa exists is evident on the third mini card of the day. His official black boots have been stamped and hand-colored on a white die-cut circle. The circle is elevated off of the card base with the use of pop dots. There’s a panel of patterned paper which features a collage of holiday text in a variety of colors including reds, greens and silver.
The text-filled paper is mounted onto a light green polka dotted card base. The edges of the card have been inked in black. This mini card is playful yet super fun for accompanying a small gift! It can be viewed [and purchased!] here.
Still in the holiday spirit, the next two cards are highlighting Hanukkah for our Jewish friends. While this card is a little more simple than some of the others, it still packs a super punch! There are tiny white twinkling stars which accompany the stamped sentiment “Happy Hanukkah” in black ink. The card base is a dark blue with a polka dotted pattern.
The star-filled patterned paper layer is elevated off of the card base with the use of pop dots. This card is clean, simple and straight to the point. Since there are eight nights to celebrate the holiday, what’s more perfect than a little card to help celebrate?!? It is listed in the Etsy Shop here.
My second Hanukkah card features the standard super important menorah, stamped cleanly and crisply in black ink. It’s on a polka dot patterned green circle with edges that have been slightly inked. The background paper focuses on a plaid or grid pattern in a myriad of colors including greens, pinks, reds and turquoise.
All the of the corners on both layers, the plaid and the turquoise card base have been rounded. They are subtle curves which compliment the circle with the menorah. It is listed here.
Well that rounds out the highlights from some recently listed items. I will continue listing more holiday goodness as they are quickly approaching! This week the #weliketoeat Friday feature will be phenomenal! I’ve got a new recipe and it is a whopper of a good one, I’m not even going to lie! Hopefully you’ll come back and check it out!
