So I’ve been horrible about posting, but not so horrible about creating. I want to quickly share the card I made for my last inspiration challenge as well as share the next color scheme.
As a reminder, here is the color scheme I was using for inspiration:
I started with a dark purple background and then I used some awesome die-cuts from MFT which have stitching lines on them [my total new fave] and layered them. I cut them out of four different colors inspired by the photo above. The smallest circle is a shiny gold which is accented by the smattering of small gold flecks on the background. I embossed the sentiment “thinking of you” with aqua so it would show up on the dark purple. I snipped the ends of the strip the sentiment is on to mimic a banner. This is again something that I’ve been gravitating towards, I’m digging it.
The photos aren’t fantastic because I took them a different way, so I apologize for the glare and the background.
It’s relatively simple with very little stamping but I love the way that it turned out. I just hope my friends who get them enjoy them.
I’ll be creating more and sharing more details this week, including some Valentine’s Day projects I’m working on!
Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully your January has been a good one!
